今年10月の来日記念盤のようです。
THE ESSENTIAL TODD RUNDGREN
お手軽に聴くにはいい選曲だとおもいます。
IT WOULDN'T HAVE MADE ANY DIFFERENCEという曲は
「所詮はおなじこと」と訳されている。
妙にうまい邦題だ。
- WHEN THE SHIT HITS THE FAN; SUNSET BLVD. -
「ファンがだまされた時には;サンセット通りへ」
これはよくわからないが、A WIZARD A True Satrからの名曲だ。
元気のないときはこの曲を大音量でかければ大丈夫・・・
のような気分になります。(あくまでも個人的に）
歌詞はなかなかハチャメチャで、凄く良いです。
クライスラー（米国車メーカー）のビルが庭に崩れ落ちてきたり、
IRAがLONDONを（おそらくbombで）hitして、スコットランドヤードが半分・・・・というような
素晴らしい!?常人では書けないものです。

もう2週間ほどと迫ってまいりました！
チケットはどれくらい売れているかは、全く知りませんが
トッドちゃん来日の場合は尻りあがりに満員になるので
非常に楽しみだ!!
10月10日（日）富士山麓でトッドほえる 朝霧JAM （肩慣らしかもしれませんが。それでも良いですね。）
