youtubeは62歳でこれくらいできているので、全盛期ほどではないが
なかなか以上いけているんではないかしら。
2010年9月のライブです。

内容からするとdrugのふんだんにある時代に
イメージのわいた曲でしょうね。
TODDというアルバムで聞けます。
CDで1500円くらいで売ってるのではないでしょうか。

当時としてはかなり才気ばしった類のアルバムだと思います。
最近の　FATBOY　SLIMのように　延々roopして盛り上がっていく曲です。
beatelsが　tomrrow　never　knowsを60年代に書いたときのように・・・
（個人的な感想です～）
calssicであればラベルのボレロとなりますでしょうか!?

いけなくなってしまったわけだったが、
それをしっかり飯の種にかえてしまうところが、プロデュース力も抜群の
この方の腕の見せ所でしょうか！？

昔、ロック名鑑とか
いろんな本をよんで、自分の好みにあうMUSICIANのアルバムを
first　albumから順番に後追いで聴いていくというのを高校生のころから
繰り返していた。

TODDちゃんで最初にリアルタイムで買ったアルバムが
アカペラ。
something to fall back onはその中の曲です。
独りですべてを高い次元で完成させたということに仰天した。
（ほかのアルバムもそうです。）
どんな音楽（洋楽）紹介本をみてもTODD　RUNDGRENのことは
チラッと記載はあったように思う。洋楽ファンは名前ぐらいは知っているだろう、きっと。

今回のtourは
朝霧festivalを含めると5公演。
つつがなく終了しました。

となりにいた若い兄ちゃんと終演後いろいろお話した。
bluesゴリゴリのファンのようだが
「こういう解釈のrock　bluesもかっこいい～」と言っていた。
新しいファンが増えるのはいいいことだな。

短期間の間にかなり多くの見知らぬ方々といろいろ友達になった。
音楽には吸引力というか不思議な力があるようだ。

個人的には
朝霧とlast　dayの出来が良かったように思います。
彼らは今日の昼には空路に・・・・See　you　soon！

ツアー開始 I Saw the Light - Todd Rundgren

10月10日は朝霧で1時間のステージ。

今日10月11日から東名阪ツアー。
本日は東京クアトロです。
bluesカバーの名目のツアーだが、アクセントで日本公演向けにも
いろんな曲がはいるだろう。
オーストラリアではCan　We　Still　be　friendsが入ったようです。

この曲がくればこんな感じの演奏だろう。
間奏のジェシーとのツインギター、いつ聴いてもわりとキュンときます。（w
いつか子供と練習しよう。

youtubeにはNEW　World　Orderとかいてあるが、No World Orderだとおもいます。

1993年に発表されたインタラクティブなフォーマットCD-iでつくられた
アルバム。（オウム真理教が暴れていた時期だな。）

まあいえばラップ（トッドがラップを・・・）,CD-iとは何ぞやPCで音楽を聴くのか？
ということで、おそらく日本のファン（メロディアスなものを求めるヒト）は離れただろう。
ネットがしっかり普及する前に、当時にしてはこんな実験作品をつくっていたのは凄い。

たしかappleのPCのCMにもでていたころだったろうか？
ちょっと忘れました。
中古屋さんに安い値段で沢山でまわっているが、才能ほとばしる名作だ。
すこし遅れてか聴いたが色あせない。

トッドとは関係ない個人的な回想だが、当時は
こんなのを大音量で聴いていました。

むつかしいようなきがします。あくまでも気がするだけです。
